NEW Ube Treats We are Obsessed with Right NOW

It seems like every day there are new Ube products on the mainstream market and every foodfluencer and bakery has a new twist to this time tested Filipino favorite. Let one thing be clear: we are NOT mad at it. In fact, we say, BRING IT ON. In case you haven’t noticed, Ube is rapidly taking over the world and quickly making its way into the happy stomachs of Filipino Americans and non-Filipinos alike across the country. We know that the options to satisfy an ube craving can be a little overwhelming, so we put together a list of some of our favorite ube infused baked goods that we’ve been eyeing right NOW.

1. San and Wolves’ Vegan Ube Buko Pop Tarts

Imagine lush coconut custard (called haupia, which is a Hawaiian coconut pudding) filling inside a buttery flakey pastry crust, using San and Wolves; housemade vegan butter, topped off with ube glaze and also royal icing for the zig zags frosting. Heaven, right?
