Wednesday fans, meet the new kid stirring up the halls of Nevermore: Bruno Yuson, Enid’s freshly ex-ed boyfriend in Season 2. But behind the brooding character is a Filipino American multi-hyphenate who is just getting started. From classical violin training to breaking barriers on screen, here are ten things to know about Noah B. Taylor.
1. Noah B. Taylor proudly embraces his Filipino American roots.
Born to a Filipino mother and a White American father, Noah grew up in New York but often traveled back to the Philippines. That blend of cultures shaped his identity and gave him the perspective of someone who knows how to move between worlds while still staying connected to his heritage.
2. He trained at the prestigous Royal Conservatoire of Scotland to perfect his craft.
Instead of diving straight into Hollywood auditions, Noah invested in his artistry at one of Europe’s most respected drama schools. The Royal Conservatoire of Scotland is known for its small, intensive classes where students are pushed to their creative limits, and the experience prepared him for the demands of a breakout role.
3. His breakout role as Bruno Yuson was written with his heritage in mind.
Wednesday Season 2 marks Noah’s first major acting credit, and the character of Bruno Yuson was reimagined to reflect his Filipino background. It is a refreshing moment of representation in a genre that rarely spotlights characters of color, and it allowed Noah to bring more of himself to the role.
4. He fought through a grueling audition process to land the role.
Noah submitted his first self-tape in December 2023, recording and re-recording until he felt it was right. After callbacks and an in-person chemistry read with Emma Myers, he officially secured the part of Bruno and proved that persistence pays off.
5. He built Bruno’s character by focusing on physical movement.
For Noah, acting is not just about dialogue but about how a character carries themselves. He drew on his training in animal movement, studying the grounded, alert qualities of wolves, and used that to give Bruno a subtle but powerful physicality.
6. He is also pursuing a music career with his brother.
Beyond acting, Noah is part of the music duo One Minute Friend, which he formed with his brother. Their debut album For You, My Love (While My Other Half Waits) dropped in August 2025 and showcased an indie-folk sound filled with dreamy harmonies and honest storytelling. We’re currently listening (and may I add, swooning) to “i95” as we write this.
7. He started with music long before acting ever entered the picture.
Noah began classical violin training at just four years old and studied well into his teens. That early discipline taught him patience and emotional expression, tools that continue to shape the way he approaches performance today.
8. He knows what it means to navigate identity and representation.
As a Filipino American growing up in predominantly white schools, Noah often felt like “the Filipino kid.” Playing a Filipino werewolf in one of Netflix’s biggest global shows flips that script and shows how his identity can shine in spaces where Filipinos have rarely been seen.
9. He draws inspiration from Asian cinema legends.
Noah looks up to the likes of Tony Leung and Leslie Cheung, icons known for their emotional depth and quiet intensity. He channels that same ability to say a lot with just a small gesture or glance, giving Bruno a balance of strength and vulnerability. He also follows the work of his favorite Asian directors Ryusuke Hamaguchi, or Wong Kar Wai.
10. He is staying grounded while preparing for bigger things ahead.
Even with all the buzz around Wednesday, Noah is focused on staying authentic rather than chasing perfection. He believes art is about connection more than control, and with both acting and music in his life, this is just the beginning. And honestly? We cant wait to see what’s next.
So yeah, Noah B. Taylor is more than just the “new boyfriend” on Wednesday. He is redefining what it means to be Filipino American in global entertainment. Between his music, his acting, and his perspective, he is someone to watch, not only for what he represents but also for the stories he has yet to tell.
