Gary Batara is Vice President of Marketing at a Y-Combinator Top 100 hyper growth startup in the San Francisco Bay Area. Batara earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and his MBA from the University of Phoenix. In his studies, he had a specialized focus on marketing. Achieving distinction, he earned membership in the Delta Mu Delta International Academic Honor Society and the National Society of Leadership and Success.
With a career spanning fifteen years, Batara has gained extensive expertise in marketing, hosting a notable trajectory that includes roles at prominent Fortune 500 companies as Google, ISS Global, Baseline Ventures, as well as PowerPlant and Astanor Capital-backed startups. His contributions have been pivotal in propelling companies toward hypergrowth, surpassing revenue milestones that exceed the billion-dollar mark.
Batara lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife Marilyn and enjoys spending quality time with their two children, Dylan and Jake. They enjoy vacationing in Hawaii and indulging in their passion for movies. In his spare time, Batara enjoys competitive weightlifting.
