It Works! : IRL Vision Board Success Stories

Do vision boards really work? I can tell you first hand that YES, vision boards really work! I’ve been hosting vision board workshops for 5 years now; I can assure you that they 100 percent work and they aren’t woo woo either! Is it crazy when things come true? Yes! Could it be a coincidence? Maybe...but not really. Our minds are a fascinating thing and the Universe only wants to give us what we want. If you don’t believe it, that’s ok, but it won’t hurt if you made one anyway. Keep reading for real life stories on vision board intentions coming true.

For those of you who aren’t familiar, a vision board is a physical or digital manifestation of your goals. Vision boarding involves collecting images or objects that speak to the future you want to create and arranging them on a board reminding you of where you're heading.

There are thousands of people out there who can share their experiences, for instance, successful entrepreneurs and celebrities. Oprah, Resse Weatherspoon, Jim Carrey, Steve Harvey, just to name a few. There are also other talents who are paving the way one vision board at a time. I found one Filipina who is putting it out there, literally! She recorded a YouTube video explaining her intentions for 2022. I thought it was very inspiring!

Asia Jackson, a Los Angeles based Filipina American actress and content creator, has been creating videos that are dedicated to encouraging others to be the best versions of themselves through fashion, beauty, self-care, and vlogs. In her vision board for 2021, she said that almost everything she put on it has come true, including getting her dream car, a Tesla! During 2022, her vision board reflects on “stabilizing” to prepare her for more growth for the future. I wonder if she plans to put out a 2023 video?

There are no rules when it comes to vision boards, since it's about crafting something that will inspire you to obtain your dreams and goals on a daily basis. Some vision boards focus on one idea, while others look at the big picture of what you want the future to look like. I can honestly tell you that my biggest dreams on my vision board have come true, several times. Although thinking back at the time while constructing it, it didn’t come in the form that I was expecting it in. However, the point is, it happened! In 2017, I wrote down that I would make $40,000 a month, consistently, and in 2019, it started happening! However, it wasn’t going into my personal bank account. The money was flowing in through businesses that I ran. It dawned on me that I should have been more specific! The second and most recent experience is when I wrote myself a check in 2018 for $1 million dollars to be deposited into my bank account on September 14th, 2022. I kid you not, on September 28th 2022, just 14th days after, we closed on our dream house worth over $1 million dollars. Again, the funds weren’t directly deposited to my personal bank account, but it happened. Woo woo? NOPE, not at all! I recently watched an interview where Oprah recommended manifesting what you want on your vision board, then forgetting about it, putting it away and not thinking about it. Eventually, it’ll come to you. Remember that check I wrote in 2018? I totally forgot about it. I stuffed it in a book and never looked back. While moving into my dream home, it somehow fell out of the book so I could find it! You better believe my heart skipped a beat!

So back to the question, do vision boards work? ABSOLUTELY! So with that being said, say thank you to 2022 and say hello to 2023's new opportunities and whatever else you want! Set your intentions, visualize your goals, and create your vision board. If you don’t know where to start, you're in luck! In Her Purpose is holding a free virtual vision board session with yours truly. I’ll even show you the check I wrote out in 2018.
