This adaptation is about the family's efforts to persevere through colonialism, occupation and war features an international cast led by Lee Min Ho, Kim MinHa, Jin Ha and Yuh-Jung Youn. Beautifully shot and emotional, Pachinko will conjure emotions of Filipino American’s own generational trauma, but more importantly, the will to triumph despite our country and culture’s past.

Instead, she’s swept up into a multi-verse where she alone can save the world by exploring the lives she could have led.
A mind-bending, yet quirky film with eye popping visuals that is equal parts action, sci-fi, family and drama, the film also starts Ke Huy Quan, Stephanie Hsu, Jenny Slate, Harry Shum Jr., with James Hong and Jamie Lee Curtis and has garnered an impressive 97% Rotten Tomatoes score.

Disney and Pixar’s “Turning Red” introduces Mei Lee, a confident, dorky 13-year-old torn between staying her mother’s dutiful daughter and the chaos of adolescence. Her protective, if not slightly overbearing mother, Ming, is never far from her daughter—an unfortunate reality for the teenager. And as if changes to her interests, relationships and body weren’t enough, whenever she gets too excited (which is practically ALWAYS), she “poofs” into a giant red panda.
